Theodore (Ted) John Bruno
Ted Bruno currently serves as a director of Georgia Commerce Bank as well as Georgia Commerce Bancshares, Inc. Bruno is also chairman and chief executive officer of Progressive Wire & Cable, Inc.

In 1980, Bruno founded Wire and Cable Specialties Corporation (WCS) and served as its chief executive officer and chairman until 1997. In this position, he directed the growth of his start-up company to become a national distributor of specialty electronic and electrical wire and cable. After going public, the company merged with Kent Electronics Corporation, and Bruno served as a vice president and management consultant until April 2001.

Prior to 1980, Bruno worked in the electrical cable business with Ace Wire and Cable in New York, New York. He started as a salesman in 1970 and left as a vice president of sales to start his own specialty cable company.

Bruno has served on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta board and has been active with various charities over the years.

Bruno and his wife Dianne divide their time between Atlanta and Ormond Beach, Florida.

Mark B. Chandler
Mark Chandler currently serves as a director of Georgia Commerce Bank as well as Georgia Commerce Bancshares, Inc.

He is president and founder of Habersham Properties, Inc. (HPI), an Atlanta property management and brokerage firm. A real estate investor for over 20 years, Chandler has held an active real estate license with the Georgia Real Estate Commission for over 15 years.

Prior to his entry into real estate, Chandler was a senior auditor at Arthur Anderson & Co. and obtained the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation in 1987.

From 1981 to 1984, Chandler was employed by Trust Company Bank (predecessor to SunTrust Bank). Hired into the management trainee program, he also served as an operating supervisor.

Chandler obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in finance from the University of Georgia in 1981. From 1982 to 1984 he was enrolled in the Master of Accounting program at Georgia State University.

Chandler has been a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs, the Atlanta Board of Realtors and the Atlanta Apartment Association. Furthermore, he is an active member of the Buckhead Rotary Club and Northside United Methodist Church.

Chandler and his wife Barbara live in Atlanta with their son Bryant, 17, and daughter Weezie, 14.

Harald R. Hansen
Harald Hansen currently serves as a director of Georgia Commerce Bank as well as Georgia Commerce Bancshares, Inc.

From 1989 until his retirement on September 1, 1996, Hansen served as chairman of First Union National Bank of Georgia. His previous positions with the bank included chief executive officer and the General Banking Group’s executive vice president.

Hansen joined First Union National Bank of North Carolina in 1969 as assistant vice president; he ended his tenure at the bank in 1986 as executive vice president of the World Banking Group.

Hansen earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Duke University.

Hansen serves on community boards and the board of directors of a number of public and private companies and funds. He also is on the board of trustees of the Asheville School and Oglethorpe University.

In 1990, Hansen was named Minority Business Advocate of the Year by the Minority Business Development Agency in Atlanta. He has since received the Institute of Human Relations Award from the American Jewish Committee’s Atlanta chapter, as well as a Distinguished Service Award from both the Empire Real Estate Board and the Atlanta Business League.

H.C. (Buddy) Henry, Jr.
Buddy Henry currently serves as a director of Georgia Commerce Bank as well as Georgia Commerce Bancshares, Inc.

Henry spent the first 32 years of his professional career in the telecommunications industry working for BellSouth. In the five years before his retirement from BellSouth, he was executive vice president in the office of the chairman. Prior to that assignment, he served for five years as president of BellSouth’s Florida operations.

Since that time, Henry has divided his time between community service, private investing, farming and being an at-home father to his five children.

Henry graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in math and physics, later earning a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Henry serves on MedicAlert Foundation International’s board of directors, is a Cherokee County United Way advisory board member, and is an Orange Bowl Committee member.

His family includes his wife Lynn and their 13-year-old twins, Bonnie and Calvin, and 11-year-old triplets, Helene, Sean and Caroline.

Rich Novack
Rich Novack currently serves as a director of Georgia Commerce Bank as well as Georgia Commerce Bancshares, Inc.

Immediately prior to retiring from Wellpoint Inc., Novack was general manager of special accounts/public entities at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and president of Greater Georgia Life (two separate divisions of WellPoint, Inc.). Novack also served on the WellPoint National Account Council and the Federal Employees Plan Product Steering Group. In a previous position with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, Novack was vice president for underwriting and marketing.

Novack was senior group underwriter at Prudential’s Southern Group Operations, a region he helped to start in 1987.

Having a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from the University of South Carolina, he also earned a Master of Science in strategic management from Georgia State University. Novack is a fellow of the Life Management Institute, Chartered Life Underwriter, and 1994 recipient of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia President’s Award.

Novack is a six-year board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters, past president of the Roswell Youth Baseball Association, and has a variety of other business interests in the Atlanta area.

He lives in Roswell with his wife Christine and son Nelson.

Gregory S. Pope
Masters Capital Management, Portfolio Manager and COO

Prior to Masters Capital, Greg attended Georgia State University and graduated in 1989 with a B.S. in Finance. Upon graduation, Greg joined the firm of J.C. Bradford & Co. as a retail investment representative, where he worked for 11 years covering institutional and individual accounts. Greg founded the firm’s corporate finance liaison group in Atlanta, was named a partner of the firm, and was a member of the firms Leadership Counsel for several years. In July of 2000, J.C. Bradford & Co. was acquired by Paine Webber and it was at that time that Greg joined Masters Capital.

Greg is a Partner at Masters Capital, has been a portfolio manager for over 10 years and has had a significant role in delivering superior returns for the Marlin Funds. Greg also serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Masters Capital Management.

Greg currently serves on the board of The Bay Foundation, and is a past board member of several charitable foundations. Greg is an active volunteer in NYO Sports programs, Metro Atlanta Project, and is an active member of Northside United Methodist Church.

Donal Ratigan
Donal Ratigan currently serves as a director of Georgia Commerce Bank as well as Georgia Commerce Bancshares, Inc.

In 2001, Ratigan retired from CIT Financial Services, where he was employed for 21 years and held a number of sales and management positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to his retirement, Ratigan was president of the North American division of CIT’s Industrial Equipment Financing Group, headquartered in Atlanta. He was responsible for equipment leasing/financing and senior debt financing in a variety of market segments.

Ratigan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Georgia.

He was a past chairman on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. He also is a member of the foundation board of trustees for the Equipment Leasing Association of America and is president-elect of Buckhead Baseball.

Ratigan and his wife Cathy are the proud parents of three boys, Hyatt, Hugh and Neil.
